Tri City Auto Repair
Car slid off the road with no apparent damage. They were decently nice, but were frustrating to work with, were pricey, and I had a tire blow up after they test drove it and said nothing was wrong. Duriing inspection, they found a slipped strut, so I was going to replace that the next day (was not advised to not drive it), but after the inspection and them putting the tires back on, they were rubbing and blew the tire (despite it driving fine the day before). Won't be back personally.
Good morning Jake. I looked over your original repair digital inspection and notes. Your original concern: Slid off the road Sunday night and ever since there is a shimmy or wiggle in what he thinks is the front. Says he feels it in the steering column. He feels it most between 65mph - 75mph. So initially we know your vehicle was not driving fine the day before. Once the inspection was done your technician found as noted: Updated Notes Test drove. I did not feel any vibration. I inspected for bent wheels. they all appear to be ok. I did find some things wrong in the inspection that should be addressed though. The right side strut spring has slipped off mount. Recommend 2 strut assemblies with alignment. Tread depth Rear tires measure 3 and 5/32. Recommend replacing rear tires and checking balance on front. Front measure 6 and 7/32 You stated that you had to just drive down the road. You left and the tire blew out. In the picture of your inspection those tires are worn out and dry rotted with cracking all over them. You viewed your inspection and spoke with our advisor. You decided to leave with a strut spring that slipped off the mount from your accident. Causing your tire to blow out. I would appreciate an honest review. We provided pictures and notes with our digital inspection, and all repairs backed with a 3yr 36k mile nationwide warranty. Thank you for considering updating your review. Have a great Holiday season.
